- This is a good guide. I found the previous version at the library and ordered this updated one. What I like about this particular book is that the author includes story-line details on the constellations, and not only lists the brightest stars, but gives additional information on them including distance and color. Adjoining the description is a star chart showing not only the constellation, but includes the section in the sky as well. Great section on the Moon. As with most astronomy books, the print is small, so a either sharp eyes, or a field glass is necessary to view the labels on the illustrations.
- Good general information source. My only complaint is there are no coordinates, it does have a location graphic but standard coordinates would be much appreciated.
