Solution Focused Brief Therapy 100 Key Points Harvey Ratner Evan George Chris Iveson Books Reviews

  • This is an excellent read. It gives you the foundation to Solution Focused Brief Therapy, even walking you through various scenarios and how you might effectively respond as a therapist using the solution focused approach.
  • Downloaded to my . Very much worth the money and time to read. I'm an LCSW, and the book explains the SFBT in clear and practical terms to begin using in practice immediately. Highly recommend.
  • I use SFT in my work on a regular basis. The tips were great reminders of basics that are sometimes easy to forget. A very easy read and great book for the beginner or seasoned practitioner.
  • Easy read to get a better understanding of solution focused therapy. Gave client examples.
  • Well written and an easy read. To the point. Recommended to people new to the solution focused approach.
  • A clear, easy to read outline of a method which is an excellent tool for therapists and, parents, and laypeople. Short chapters. Easy to read. Not very detailed, but a great summary.
  • An easy read which presents solution focused therapy in away that is understandable and seductive and above all usable and just leaves the reader thankful that shazer and berg were able to use and develop solution focused therapy.. It is a therapy which is respectful and acceptable to clients as it acknowledges strengths and fleshes out the clients own solutions rather than imposing solutions which aren't useful. In its pure frm there is also no archeological psychological digging which seems to sometimes go round and round to nowhere useful.
  • an excellent book. I'm an experienced practitioner returning to work after a few years retired. The book provided an excellent over view and I'd recommend it for both experienced and new clinicians.
