- The book had alot of information that helped my husband and i in making decisions and knowing what to ask. Unfortunately, it had an awful lot of superfilous information in it that was more for someone who is curious about prostate cancer or has not already been diagnosed. Basically... it would have been nice to have this 5 years ago when his PSA count was first elevated. We would have known then that we needed to start testing 5 years earlier.
If you already have the diagnosis, you just have to sift through alot of things... but it is still a very informative and helpful book. This is the one our eurologist recommended to us to read. - This book provides great insight into understanding the prostate and cancer. It gives insight into the treatment options and the pros and cons of the various options.
- It was recommended to me by a current Prostate Cancer survivor and I find it to be so well written that I can't think of another way the subject could be covered better. The large font is a plus.
